I love holidays with family, but since I don't have any near, I tend to
be scrooge. Which is sad for my kids. So, what better holiday than
Easter to start. I decided to try something this year for Easter. I wanted Jack to focus on Jesus instead of the candy so through out the week I read him some children's books and talked about what happened. But, I didn't want him to lose out on the great memories I have. On Saturday, I wanted to keep the tradition of Jelly-bean hunt so we did that when Ted was home. I have always loved this simple tradition. Then on the Monday after Easter, when all the candy was on sale, we invited some friends over to hunt for eggs.
