I find it humorous as I look back on many of the books that I read as a child, a lot of them took place somewhere in Virginia. One of them was about the wild ponies that live on Chincoteague and Assateague Island. Well, this weekend we decided to make the trip out to the peninsula.
To get out the peninsula you have to cross a bridge/tunnel that is 20 miles long. You go under the water in two different spots.
