New Port News- Start of Christmas Break 12/14/12

The start of our Christmas break began the last day of the semester. We stayed the night at a Comfort Suites in New Port News, which also had a shuttle to and from the airport and allowed our car to stay there the month we were gone.

After we found out that Ted earned his 4.0 we traveled up to the coast. It was about 20 minutes away. Here we just wondered around enjoying the beach. This was Jack's first time to see the ocean. He tried a couple of times to touch the water but he was mainly occupied with trying to catch the birds. The next day we would be flying out for home. Boy, were we excited!
