officially a better cook than Ted

Tonight I made a special dinner and dessert for Ted. He just recieved the highest score on a test in one of his classes out of about 150 students. Whenever he gets an A we celebrate with ice-cream. This way, the whole family is just as excited for dad's accomplishment has he and I are. So, tonight I made chicken pot pie and coconut cream pie to go along with the ice-cream. (Thanks mom!)
Since we have moved to Virginia, I have had to become more resourceful in my cooking (along with everything else). I have also started to cook more with onions and garlic because Ted loves it. I can handle it better now that I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy ( I still never use the amount a recipe calls for, gotta start somewhere). Ted said tonight that I am officially a better cook than he is. That is a big compliment. I have always disliked cooking and have tried to get by the easiest way possible, which is talking Ted into cooking. But this semester has been the toughest Ted has ever had and has been told that it will be the hardest, even compared to Dental School classes. That being said, I have had to learn to cook.

RANDOM: Some things you can teach the baby that you cannot teach the dad. Jack just ran and put his pants away after getting him ready for bed, without being asked. I am constantly putting Ted's clothes away that are scattered around the house in miscellaneous rooms.
