Here some of the pictures from our last month or so in Idaho. Virginia is quite a bit different than Idaho. There are so many trees you can hardly see what is really around you or where you are. Most of the time you need air conditioning even at 75 degrees (which is hardly ever, lately when Jack and I have taken Ted to school at 7:30 in the morning it is already 77-80 degrees). Ted wants to make sure that Jack remembers he is an Idahoan through and through so he tells him of all the amazing things and people back home in Idaho. We skype with both sides of our family almost weekly to help Jack remember his Grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Jack trying to use Kyndra's toothbrush.
Grandma and Grandpa would always let him play with their electric toothbrush
so he thinks Kyndra's is meant for him as well.
Jack enjoying Grandma's full attention, which he had just about anytime he wanted.
He has Grandpa and Grandma wrapped around his cute, little finger.
If Jack had the choice, he would have spent every moment outside.
That includes never going to sleep.
Thank goodness grandma always had things to do outside so most of the time his wish came true.
My Duke a boy.
Jack doesn't get too upset when we skype with either grandparents except
when they show their dogs. Then he starts crying and wants to go outside
to see if they are there. It breaks my heart.
My handsome little man.
Onto the 4th of July. We spent the 4th in McCall with mom, dad, and Kyndra. Then went to Boise to see Zach, Devyn, Ashton, Eric, and Cloey. The fireworks were really well done and the weather was great. We had a great time.
Ted and Jack playing in the sand.
attempting to go in the water.
Obviously playing in the water wasn't the best, that is until Ashton showed Jack how it was in Boise.
Now he loves it. He wants to get in the shower anytime anyone is in.
Enjoying the warm sand after the water.
Getting ready for fireworks!
Looking out on the lake.
Mom and Dad taking Jack for a walk.
I love how in this one Jack is looking up at Grandma.
I'm sure he is thinking, I love you...
We are enjoying our time in Virginia but long to be home in Idaho where we belong. One day. That is why we are out here, so that we can end up where we want to be most. Near both of our families. Boy are we blessed.
